In a key step towards sustainable energy development, the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) recently held a Strategic Meeting in Gurugram on February 2, 2024. In collaboration with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), the workshop focused on essential areas of business expansion and cost-effective capital utilisation strategies.
Strategic Perspectives and Efficiency Enhancements :
The discussion focused on a comprehensive report provided by IREDA’s Strategy Team, which highlighted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and proposed IT-driven upgrades targeted at improving overall efficiency and user experience. Discussions also focused on predicted Gross Non-Performing Assets, with a strong recovery action plan developed to ensure financial stability in the face of probable obstacles.
Retail Growth and Cost Optimisation :
The strategic meeting offered light on IREDA’s projected retail expansion strategy, with a focus on attempts to cut funding costs. Following a thorough examination of local and foreign lines, the leadership investigated options for optimising bond-raising to efficiently manage excess liquidity.
